A new identity heralds growth and change for a traditional institution
Marketing studies revealed that despite a supportive membership, the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania was largely unknown to, or misunderstood by, its own community.
We created a strong, memorable symbol to coincide with the creation of the new Senator John Heinz Regional History Center, and produced the new identity’s first applications: building signage, Society stationery, marketing materials including direct mail, event invitations and programs, and colorful banners affixed to the new Center’s facade.
