August Wilson Center
for African American Culture
Building a graphic identity for a new cultural institution
Pittsburgh’s August Wilson Center celebrates all things African American, with a mission to preserve, present, and interpret the art, culture, and history of African Americans. Their state-of-the-art building is under construction, scheduled to open later in 2009.
Our season brochures build a distinctive brand for this newcomer to the Pittsburgh cultural scene. In addition, a mini-brochure describing the unique First Voice festival works in concert with the 07/08 brochure but also serves as a stand-alone.
