Celebrating a vibrant urban center
A visit to Pittsburgh would not be complete without a trip to its historic Cultural District, a 14-square block area that is the heart of the city’s visual and performing arts, offering world-class musical theater, classical and contemporary music, ballet, modern dance, visual art, opera, and drama. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust commissioned 107 celebratory banners to add color and excitement to the District’s street scene.
