Hillside restoration explained
Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington neighborhood overlooks the city and the confluence of the three rivers. Restoring the cliff-like hillside will open up spectacular views from the neighborhood’s famed Grandview Avenue, a National Scenic By-way. We designed interpretive signs to explain the restoration project and illustrate the future hillside. Architectural firm Strada designed the handsome structural supports.
