Shadyside Hospital
Shadyside Hospital’s re-designed lobby created the ideal location for A History of Caring, an historical exhibit about this leading medical institution.
The 45-foot permanent exhibit charts the hospital’s admirable history through archival images, stories of major medical advances, and the biographies of important personalities. Rich colors create a glowing wall that complements the dark wood of the lobby and exhibit casework. We divided the exhibit into important eras in the hospital’s story, each marked with a bright red introductory panel that gives the visitor an overview of events to come.
