The Richard L. Thornburgh Room at University of Pittsburgh
A new room in University of Pittsburgh’s Hillman Library offers the opportunity to learn about Dick Thornburgh—former Pennsylvania governor, U.S. Attorney General, and undersecretary of the United Nations—through an extensive collection of documents and memorabilia. An engaging visual collage marks the Thornburgh Room’s entrance, providing highlights from his long and honorable career in public service.
We designed the permanent exhibit elements of the room, and also designed a system for the temporary display of documents, photographs, and artifacts on suspended glass shelving and within glass-topped tables.
